Bonus Hours
Bonus Hours may be awarded by individual divisions at the divisional/regional
manager’s discretion in the following circumstances:
- As an added incentive for a certain project/shutdown, etc.
- For the reporting of a significant Near Miss
- For recommending a change/addition for improving a procedure/process/safety factor.
- Any other circumstance that the Divisional/Regional Manager deems worthy.
The denomination of Bonus Hours is left to the divisional manager but may range from
250 – 10,000 Bonus Hours.
Bonus Hours are obtained from the Health and Safety Department in Edmonton upon
written reason and request.
Using Bonus Hours is the only method for an employee to spend more than the earned
maximum hours/months associated with this program (9600 hours/48 Months).
Bonus Hours are non-transferable.
The company is not responsible for employee documents, and therefore will not replace if lost or stolen .
